NIHR Receives Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands

Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), has received HE Mr. Lawrence Westhoff, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain and residing in Kuwait.

Al-Derazi welcomed the visit of the Dutch Ambassador, noting the friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Kingdom of the Netherlands, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation, especially in topics related to supporting and protecting a culture of human rights.

The two sides touched on several topics of common interest, and the Dutch Ambassador expressed his aspiration to achieve more constructive and fruitful cooperation between the two friendly countries during the coming period.
